Government Approves Three Acts on Digital Identity, Foreign Investments, and Business Support

The Council of Ministers approved three significant proposals from the Ministry of Economy and Innovation as part of the European Union integration process.
Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj announced that the draft law on electronic identification, trust services, and digital identity wallets aims to strengthen legal security and data protection. The law consolidates the existing framework for electronic identification and signatures, establishing the foundation for a digital identity wallet. This will allow for a gradual transition of the administration toward a “paperless” model in the medium term.
