Mission:

The mission of the Media and Information Agency is to ensure transparency in terms of all policies, projects and activities of the Albanian Government, as well as public institutions depending on it.

The Media and Information Agency mission is also to transparently communicate to the media and the public, the purpose, objectives, innovations or issues that are resolved through the acts of the Council of Ministers and other acts of the ministers and any institution of the state administration.

Purpose:

The Media and Information Agency aims to serve the needs of the public, the media and the government, responding in time to their interest for information.

Therefore, the Agency guarantees public information on the work of the government through all means of mass communication, as well as the media organs through the organization of informational activities, press conferences and every event of public institutions.

Also, the Agency informs the government on news, public debates, issues of public interest that the local and foreign media carries, and it organizes the work to prepare government stance and surveys on issues of public interest.
