Minister Of Defence Ermal Nufi Said 35 Wildfires Were Reported Nationwide In The Past 24 Hours, With Eight Still Active

In order to handle the issue, 533 operational personnel, 39 firefighting vehicles, 186 members of the armed forces, four helicopters, and two Air Tractor planes have been sent in.
As of right now, two helicopters, two Air Tractor planes, and 120 Armed Forces troops are still stationed on the ground, concentrating on locations where more assistance is needed.
50 members of the Armed Forces and two helicopters are helping to put out the fire in the region above the Qafë-Mollë tunnels in Dajt, Tirana. The fire in Priskë, Farkë, and the adjacent territories has been contained, and no threat to populated areas has been recorded.
There is no threat to homes at the Abaze and Zidolli fire hotspots in Krujë, where actions are still ongoing. The opening of firebreak corridors has stopped the fire from spreading to residential areas in Gurë-Lurë, Dibër, where one of the primary operations is still ongoing. Two Air Tractor planes, one water tanker, and fifty members of the armed forces provide support to the teams on the ground.
Additionally, operations are still going on in Qafë Helmes, Bulqizë-Selishtë, Lufaj, Dardhë, and the Tërbun woods in Lezhë, Elbasan, and Shkodër. In the meantime, all of the flames in Përmet, Trojë, Qukës, and Paulesh have been put out.
The National Civil Protection Agency continues to monitor and coordinate civil protection structures without interruption, prioritizing the safety of people and their houses as well as the prompt containment of active fire hotspots.
