Minister Hoxha Meets EU High Representative Kaja Kallas and Reaffirms Albania’s Commitment to Regional Cooperation and European Integration

Ferit Hoxha, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, participated in a luncheon in New York that was sponsored by Kaja Kallas, the European Commission Vice-President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The event was attended by leaders and foreign ministers from the Western Balkans.
The current situation and developments in the Western Balkans, the challenges that the region is confronting, and the significance of close coordination in the pursuit of peace, stability, and security were the primary topics of discussion.
The meeting, according to Minister Hoxha, underscored the significance of converting the European perspective for the entire region into tangible progress, sustaining the momentum of the enlargement process, advancing reforms, and firmly anchored the Western Balkans within the European family.
“Albania is totally dedicated to its ongoing EU accession process and to making a positive impact on regional cooperation, as well as on a more united, secure, and robust Europe,” stated the minister.
