17,000 Vocational School Students Begin the New School Year
Today marked the start of the new school year for around 17,000 students enrolled in vocational schools across the nation. These institutions provide programs that combine theoretical instruction with hands-on training and labor market readiness.
With a special message for those starting vocational education for the first time this year, Minister of Economy and Innovation Delina Ibrahimaj congratulated students on the start of the new school year.
The minister declared that the e-Albania portal is still open for enrollment in vocational education for the tenth grade until September 30.
Thirty-one public schools nationwide offer vocational education. The percentage of secondary students enrolled in vocational education has increased from 12.7% in 2013 to 19.4%.
