Albania, Montenegro sign important cooperation agreements

A series of important cooperation agreements were signed on the margins of the joint session of the governments of Albania and Montenegro in Podgorica on Monday, including the Joint Declaration and Bilateral Agreement for the construction of the bridge on the Buna River, as well as the Agreement on opening the common border at the Saint Nicholas crossing – Pulaj in the territory of the Republic of Albania, signed by the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic.

In addition to them, members of the governments of both countries also inked important interstate deals on and memoranda in the fields of energy, fishing, plant protection, social protection, sports, culture and media, defence and health.

– Cooperation agreement in the field of plant health protection, between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Supply of Montenegro. – Cooperation agreement in the area of social protection between the Republic of Albania and Montenegro (Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj and Minister of Labor and Social Welfare of Montenegro, Admir Adrović)

– Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Montenegro (Ministry of Education and Sports Evis Kushi and Minister of Sports and Youth Vasilije Llaloshevic.)

-Cultural cooperation calendar for the period from 2023 to 2025 between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro (Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, and the Minister of Culture and Media of Montenegro Masha Vllahovic)
