The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, participated in the EU-Western Balkans Conference, organized by Friends of Europe in Brussels.

During the EU enlargement panel, Minister Hasani emphasized that Albania has done its tasks and is ready for the next step in its path towards European integration.

“The message coming from Tirana is clear: We are ready for the EU. Albania is well prepared and ready for the challenges ahead. We expect concrete results from the EU’s engagement in the region. Time for the Western Balkans to become part of the EU”, said Minister Hasani.

The conference precedes the Summit of EU-Western Balkan leaders, which will be held on December 13 in Brussels.
