As part of the events during the 6th European Political Community Summit, a declaration of cooperation was signed for the France-Albania Innovation Action Plan. Among other things, this declaration gives the green light to “Ecole 42″—the prestigious French coding school, present in 31 countries, which is now also coming to Albania as a dedicated hub for the tech world.
The declaration was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama and French President Emmanuel Macron, who visited the Pyramid building, where a new space has been opened for École 42. This new facility will train young people from Tirana and beyond in the digital field.
Ecole 42, a school entirely different from traditional education models, is now a well-known institution in the tech world. It offers opportunities to everyone, regardless of age, academic background, or previous education, to compete for admission into its uniquely innovative and specialised program.
This model has proven highly successful in the countries where it has been implemented, as it has opened doors for many individuals in vulnerable situations—whether due to unemployment or the loss of a previous job and inability to re-enter a specific profession—allowing them to completely shift their career path and adapt to the new world of technology.
Prime Minister Rama and French President Macron spoke with young people present in the newly dedicated facilities, who shared their personal stories of successfully adapting to the digital field.
