European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Approves 2025 Resolution on Albania, Minister Hoxha Says Progress Toward EU Integration Confirmed
The European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs approved the Resolution on the European Commission’s 2025 Progress Report on Albania with 58 votes in favor. The resolution assesses the country’s progress in the European integration process.
Ferit Hoxha, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, described the resolution’s approval as clear recognition of Albania’s progress and commitment to its path toward European Union membership. He added that the document supports the ambition of concluding negotiations by 2027 and confirms that Albania is in a decisive phase of the integration process.
