Lezha, in the modern factory of a former immigrant, who built a success story in his hometown

Desir Gjeta from Lezha is the emigrant who returned to his homeland for 15 years, to start a success story step by step in his land, where he set up a modern factory for the production of metal structures, initially with 5 workers, but now counting 45, working with the most modern technology.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the Mayor of Lezha Pjerin Ndreu, was in this venture today.

“It’s been 15 years since I returned from emigration and 5 years since we created this enterprise. We have it both as a passion and as a work tool. We also hired trainers from abroad to train the staff. For salaries, we are going almost to European level salaries, somewhere around 1 million ALL or 1000 euros on average.” – said Deshiri, while adding that his products are sold in Germany and Italy.

While the Mayor Pjerin Ndreu, who has closely followed the progress of this successful enterprise, said that Deshiri radiates the good example of Albanians who build success day by day in the domestic and foreign markets.

“There is all the technology here. It has created a special business that is to be applauded. It’s the model of how one comes from emigration and builds something of value.” – he said.

For his part, Prime Minister Rama appreciated the technological investment, as he emphasized that well-paid workers are a very important element in the success of the enterprise. “You have done very well because you are a competitor in the outside market, but never forget that, you can buy the most beautiful car, but if the driver is upset for not being paid well, your business will not function properly.” – said the Prime Minister.
