Minister Demo Visits Rinas Border Police and Commends Efficient Management of Record Passenger Flows

You are the initial visage that visitors encounter upon their arrival in our nation. The rapport we cultivate with all individuals crossing the border, be they domestic or international citizens, should reflect the assurance of safety we aspire to deliver,” stated the minister.

All beginnings are initiated by the police officer. Minister Demo stated that their behavior ought to exemplify civic conduct, which should encompass all services, beginning with border crossing locations.
The conference underscored the growing significance of technology in passenger management and enhancing service excellence. The advancement of border control technologies and apparatus, alongside the implementation of the e-Gate system, has contributed to a decrease in processing durations and improved management of passenger traffic.
The Minister of Interior underscored that technology would remain a vital instrument, although it cannot supplant the function of Police officers.
Minister Demo stated, ‘We will diligently strive to enhance the implementation of technology throughout all services, beyond just border services, to boost efficiency, guaranty public safety, and set a new benchmark for service for both inhabitants and visitors in Albania.’
