New UK-Backed Visual Monitoring Center Strengthens State Police Operations

General Director Ilir Proda of the State Police and Ms. Vikki Pullen, Deputy Director of the Directorate of Intelligence and International Operations at the UK Home Office, visited the new monitoring center, which is now fully operational.
During the visit, General Director Proda praised the State Police’s collaboration with British partners in combating organized crime and illegal migration. He also expressed gratitude for this significant investment.
Ilir Proda stated, “This is a significant investment in improving the quality of criminal case tracking and a sign of mutual trust in the fight against organized crime.”
Vikki Pullen stated: “The modern technology and software installed in this center will strengthen the Criminal Police Department’s operational, technical, and scientific capabilities within the State Police in tracking and finalizing criminal proceedings.”
The new center enables the following:
* continuous information support during special police operations;
* increased investigative and preventive capacities, as well as high-quality scientific evidence.
* The application of modern investigative techniques in line with contemporary developments.
In addition to donating equipment and technology, they also trained operational personnel.
