The second joint meeting of the governments of Albania and Montenegro commenced in the new building of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Montenegro (CANU) in Podgorica on Monday.
Prime Minister Edi Rama and the accompanying delegation of his cabinet members were welcomed in a state ceremony by the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic.
After the joint governments session, which is currently taking place, the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Montenegrin counterpart Dritan Abazovic will sign the the Joint Declaration and Bilateral Agreement for the construction of the bridge on the Buna River.
In addition to it, a number of deals and memoranda will be signed in the fields of energy, fishing, plant protection, social protection, sports, culture and media, defense, health, as well as the Agreement on the opening of the common border at the Saint Nicholas crossing – Pulaj in the territory of the Republic of Albania.
After the signing of the interstate agreements, the prime ministers of the two countries, Edi Rama and Dritan Abazovic, will hold a joint press conference.
