The Minister of Finance and Economy, Mr. Ervin Mete, held a meeting with Mr. Sebastian Sosa, the Permanent Regional Representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the Western Balkans.

During the meeting, the collaboration between Albania and the IMF was assessed, along with the ongoing assistance provided by this institution to strengthen public finances and support the reforms being made by the Albanian Government.

The discussion centered on the most recent economic developments and expectations for the macroeconomic and fiscal situation. Mr. Mete confirmed his commitment to continuing fiscal consolidation and implementing further reforms.
