The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, received the Romanian Minister of Justice, Alina-Ștefania Gorghiu, for an official meeting. At the Ministry of Justice, Minister Manja was accompanied by the President of the Commission for Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights, Mrs. Klotilda Buschka, while Minister Gorghiu was accompanied by the President of the Committee for Legal affairs, Appointments, Discipline, Immunities and Validations of the Romanian Senate, Cristian-Agustin Nicolescu-Turgărlas.
The meeting focused on the excellent parliamentary relations and cooperation between the two Ministries of Justice. The two ministers agreed to revitalize the agreement in the field of civil and family law and expressed their commitment to start work on all the issues agreed in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two Ministries of Justice in Bucharest in June 2022.
Minister Manja acknowledged Romania’s support in the integration processes as an important step in strengthening the relationship between the two Ministries. “Romania, as a friendly country, is ready to support European integration, legal assistance and exchange of experiences in the field of justice. This is an important step in strengthening our relations in the field of justice”, stated Minister Manja.
