“Open Day” Programme / Youth from Berat visit the Security and Defence Innovation Centre

Youth from Berat district took part in the Media and Information Agency’s Open Days programme, which enables young people to visit and learn about the work of public institutions at the service of citizens.
Young people from the Berat Youth Centre and activists from the New Bridges organisation visited the Security and Defence Innovation Centre, where experts in the field spoke about the role of new technologies in security, cybersecurity and the challenges of the digital world. .
The Director of the Innovation, Security and Defence Centre, Lorenc Çala, the State Minister for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, and the Director General of the Media and Information Agency, Alteo Hysi, were present at this activity.

The Director of the Centre for Innovation, Security and Defence introduced the young people to the environments dedicated to the promotion of ideas and entrepreneurship, as well as projects that support innovative ideas in the field of security.

Minister of State Bora Muzhaqi highlighted the government’s initiatives to empower young people at the local level.

“In these three years, we have invested in 15 youth centres across Albania, five of which will be completed this year. We are now doing a tour for the Youth Law and the Volunteer Law, where we are going to 16 cities,” said Muzhaqi.

The Director of the Media and Information Agency, Alteo Hysi, invited the young people to use the Open Day programme to build bridges of communication and cooperation with the country’s public institutions.
