Ulsi Manja, the Minister of Justice, presented the Intersectoral Justice Strategy 2024-2030 to officials from the judiciary and diplomatic missions in Tirana. This strategic document aims to bring the Albanian justice system in line with European standards and thereby strengthen it. The plan is an important step towards implementing changes that will make the legal system more impartial, open, and accountable to all.

On the eve of negotiations with the European Union, Minister Manja pledged to
Consolidate the gains of judicial reform: Ensuring the continued implementation of reforms in line with European standards is a key priority.

Strengthening independence and accountability: The strategy aims for a justice system that is independent, transparent, and accountable to citizens, ensuring that all justice institutions operate free from external influence.

Increasing institutional efficiency: Through modernization and digitization of services, the goal is to provide faster and more effective justice that is more responsive to the needs of citizens.

Implementing the New Map of Justice: An important component of the strategy is the implementation of the New Judicial Map, which will help organize and optimize judicial structures.

With this strategy, Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja and the Ministry of Justice are committed to bringing European justice closer to Albanian citizens than ever before.
